Q. Is there a minimum order?
A. No, however a small order needs extra chilly packs and packaging to ensure it remains fresh. Therefore, if you have the freezer storage space, one bigger order is more cost effective than several smaller orders.
Q. How are orders delivered and how long does it take to receive them?
A. Orders are dispatched by courier on a Monday or Tuesday, with a usual delivery time of one to three working days. (South Island deliveries usually take 1–2 days, North Island, 2–3 days.) If you require a delivery service other than the one offered please email to see if an alternative is available.
Q. How are products packed and how do I care for them?
A. All products are frozen and sent in resealable bags, packed in a polystyrene chilly box to ensure they reach you in prime condition. The products should be removed from the polystyrene containers and stored in their bags in a freezer set at -18 degrees Celsius. After defrosting, you can immediately refreeze unused product for future use.
Q. What if I have a problem with my purchase?
A. If any problems do arise they will be dealt with as quickly as possible, with the aim of resolving the problem to your complete satisfaction.
Q. What is your returns policy for dissection products?
A. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns of dissection products, but if there are any problems, we will do our best to rectify them to your satisfaction.
Q. Can I recycle the resealable bags and the polystyrene boxes?
A. Yes, the resealable bags can be washed in hot, soapy water and inverted to dry. They have many future storage uses. The polystyrene boxes have multiple uses in experiments, for storage and for transport. Many recycling and 'eco centre' depots, as well as stores such as Mitre 10, now accept polystyrene for recycling.
